Do you like writing your own stories or reading and drawing cartoons?

Do you play video games and wish you could create your own?

Then come to our free October workshop and learn how to make interactive cartoons, stories, art and video games with Scratch! Scratch makes it easy.

What is Scratch? It’s a simple visual programming language that lets you drag and drop
objects and actions to make interactive games, art, movies and more, without having
to know a bunch of complicated code. The best part about it? It’s made just for young
people like you.

You’ll learn how your imagination combined with math and computer science can be
used to create something fun. We’ll work together to use Scratch to make images move,
talk, and interact. Once you’re finished, you can share your creations on the web.

Join the TechGirlz online community in Scratch.mit.edu, and start sharing projects!

No experience is needed. This workshop is for girls new to Scratch. Girls with prior
experience may apply to be helpers.

Sign up today to put your ideas in motion! Only 15 seats are available, so don’t miss out!
